1978 Kawasaki Z1R-TC Turbo UK Registered US Import Very Rare STUNNING Classic
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – The hi-low light toggle off the LH switch hub being the most obvious. It has a non-standard carburettor on which is over fuelling the system so it will need re-jetting. We also noted that there is a crack in the class of the turbo meter and if we were being scrutinous... there is some creasing on the LH side decal, only the front brake is working.
The paintwork is lovely and faultless to the eye, fuel tank has been sealed but is clean inside. The indicators are tidy. The chain guard is tidy. Both mud guards are solid. The exhaust is solid. The engine is cosmetically clean. When we hooked it up to a good battery and fed it some fresh fuel we had it running and revving straight off the button but the workshop have advised that the top end is tapping and it is suspected that it needs new shims to rectify the issue.
