This uncommon little 1987 Yamaha YSR50 has recently been imported from Japan where it's spent all of it's life.
As you can see it's got a few bits missing; battery/tailpiece, screen, mirrors, indicators and ignition key being the most obvious. We also noted that the rear plastic fairing is broken.
The wheels look straight but the rims are rather rusty.
The forks look straight but the chrome is peeling.
Headlight and tailight look ok.
Instruments look ok and switches move freely.
The seat is in good condition.
We have been unable to gwt into the tank but it feels solid underneath and sounds ok when knocked on.
The mudguard is straight and solid, chainguard looks ok.
Exhaust is solid.
When we hooked it up to a booster battery and hot-wired the ignition we had it firing, running and revving on easystart spray but the fuel system will require some attention.
We are selling this bike as a trade clearance project so make us an offer and get started!
