This well-respected, Tax & MOT exempt 1979 Yamaha XT500F Enduro has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life.

As you can see this bike has a few standard parts missing – r/h mirror, ignition switch & key, instruments, indicators, airbox, taillight, front mudguard & chain guard being the most obvious.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.

This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures.

The bike has been transformed into this flat track style racer & looks quite purposeful.

The wheels look straight with nice clean alloy rims, good hubs & brake plates.

Forks & yokes look straight & clean.

Headlight & hangers look good.

Switches look good.

Carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip.

Fuel tank is alloy & squeaky-clean inside with just minor marks & scratches in the original paint.

Exhaust is a non-original Supertrapp style & solid.

Shock absorbers are damping fine.

The engine is cosmetically very clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression BUT BEST OF ALL when we fed it fresh fuel, gave it a few prods it fires, starts, runs & revs.

UK delivery can be arranged with a fully insured motorcycle courier.

Local delivery is available – We charge £2/mile from ST59JJ to your destination,

e.g. if you live 40 miles away it will cost £80.

Minimum charge £45.

National deliveries start at £195 inc for a standard size motorcycle to most mainland destinations –

Larger bikes or destinations in Scotland, Cornwall or within the M25 area will cost more.
