This well-respected and much sought after 1980 Yamaha XT250 has recently been imported from North America where its spent all its life.
The bike appears to be relatively complete, missing only it's mirror from what we can see. There are a few marks in the paint but otherwise the bike is quite tidy.
The wheels look straight with clean rims.
Forks look straight with good chrome.
Headlight and tailight both look good.
Indicators are ok but the RH front lens is broken.
The mudguards are straight and solid.
Chainguard is tidy.
Seat is in great condition.
Exhaust is solid.
Fuel tanks looks squeaky clean inside.
Sadly the bike is low on compression and we haven't managed to get it sparking, suspecting that the CDI is the culprit but we can't be certain, so we haven't had it running.
We are selling this bike as a trade clearance project so make us an offer and get started!
