This well-respected, tax and MOT exempt, 1983 Yamaha XT200 has recently been imported from North America where its spent all its life.
As you can see the bike has a few bits missing; chain, chainguard, indicators, mirrors, LH indicator toggle switch and belly pan being the most obvious. There are also a few bits non-standard; the seat and LH side panel being the most noticable.
The wheels look straight but there are a few rust spots on the bright chrome rims.
The forks look straight and chrome looks bright but the gators are perished.
Mudguards are straight and solid.
Headlight and tailight look ok.
Instruments look ok but the switches are a bit stiff.
When we hooked it up to a good battery we had it firing/running on easy start spray but the carb and fuel system will require some attention.
We are selling this bike as a trade clearance project so make us an offer and get started!
