SUZUKI - XN85

This incredibly rare and much sought-after 1983 Suzuki XN85D Turbo has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 10402 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks.

We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

 PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Mirrors, side panels, battery & the little fuse box cover from the inner fairing panel being the most obvious. It has stood a while, so the tyres are perished & master cylinders are not working.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.........This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures from 38 years ago & it is every bit as nice as it looks here.....A true time warp machine!. The wheels are straight with nice clean alloy, good looking discs & calipers. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome & clean alloy. Mudguard is solid & quite tidy. Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & cowl. Instruments & switches look great. Throttles are free sliding off the twist grip. Paintwork is solid, fuel tank is useably clean inside but has dents/marks & scratches in the original paint. Exhausts are original & appear to be solid. Seat is in very good condition throughout. Indicators are tidy. Chain guard is tidy and Shock absorbers are damping fine. The engine is cosmetically quite clean - We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system etc will need attention......don't fret we didn't run it long.
