This stunning 1979 Suzuki X5 GT200 has recently been taken into stock in a part exchange deal.

It is an official UK bike that was registered to the 1^st of its 8 former keepers on 12-11-79 & to date has covered just 19383 miles.

We have got the V5 registration document, key &some MOT history that tends to back up the mileage displayed & latest MOT cert expired April 2016.

While it looks entirely plausible, we have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike is complete. It has however stood a while, so the battery is flat.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.

This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures from 45 years ago & it is every bit as nice as it looks here.....A great find!.

The wheels look straight with nice clean alloy, good hubs & brake plate, disc, caliper & working master cylinder.

Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome.

Mudguards are both solid.

Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.

Instruments & switches look good.

Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.

Paintwork is fresh and solid; fuel tank is useably clean inside.

Exhausts are original & solid with minor pitting to the chrome.

Seat is in good condition throughout.

Indicators are tidy.

The engine is cosmetically clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression,

BUT BEST OF ALL when we gave it a few prods it fires, starts, runs & revs on the fuel in the tank.
