This well-respected, and very much sought-after Tax & MOT exempt 1972 Suzuki TS125J has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life.

This and the fact it's only showing 2213 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks.

While it looks entirely plausible, we have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

The single most important purchase for a classic restoration project is the bike to restore, whether it's going to be a commercial venture or just a hobby interest it all starts here!.

As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Mirrors, indicators, l/h pillion footrest & ball-end off the front brake lever being the most obvious.

It has stood a while, so the battery is flat.

Sadly, the seat cover is punctured.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.

This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures.

The wheels look straight with nice clean chrome rims, good hubs & brake plates.

Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome.

Mudguards are both solid & are tidy.

Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.

Instruments & switches look good, but there is a chip in the speedo case.

Carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip.

Paintwork solid, fuel tank is squeaky-clean inside and has just minor marks & scratches in the original paint.

Exhaust is original & solid.

Seat base is in very good condition throughout.

The engine is cosmetically clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression -

BUT BEST OF ALL fed it fresh fuel, gave it a few prods it fires, starts, runs & revs.
