This well-respected, and very much sought-after Tax & MOT exempt 1976 Suzuki TC185A Ranger with its 4 speed Hi/Lo ratio gearbox, electric & kick starter, has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life.

This and the fact it's only showing 3536 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks.

We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Mirrors, sprocket cover, exhaust baffle & ball end off the brake lever being the most obvious.

It has stood a while, so the battery is flat, paintwork is faded, tank is mucky inside, forks are pitted, rear mudguard is cracked & front is broken.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.

The wheels look straight with nice clean chrome rims, good hubs & brake plates.

Forks & yokes look straight.

Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.

Instruments & switches look good.

Carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip.

Exhaust is original & solid.

Seat base is in very good condition throughout.

Indicators are tidy.

The engine turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression BUT BEST OF ALL it fires, starts, runs & revs.
