This Tax & MOT exempt 1973 Yamaha RT3 360 Enduro has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.

This and the fact it's only showing 3549 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks.

While it looks entirely plausible, we have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Mirrors, indicators & exhaust baffle being the most obvious.

It has stood a while, so the battery is flat.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.

This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures.

The wheels look straight with clean chrome rims, good hubs & brake plates.

Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome.

Mudguards are both solid.

Taillight assy is good as are the headlight hangers.

Instruments & switches look ok.

Carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip.

Paintwork is solid, fuel tank is squeaky-clean inside and has just minor dents/marks & scratches in the paint.

Exhaust is original & solid.

Seat base is in good condition throughout.

The engine is cosmetically clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression

BUT BEST OF ALL when we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel, gave it a few prods it fires, starts, runs & revs but it is obvious the carb needs attention.

e.g. if you live 40 miles away it will cost £80.

National deliveries start at £195 inc for a standard size motorcycle to most mainland destinations –

Larger bikes or destinations in Scotland, Cornwall or within the M25 area will cost more.
