1974 Yamaha RD250A Unregistered US Import Barn Find Classic Restoration Project
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Ignition key, fuel tank lock & hinge pin, rear indicators & the base off the speedometer being the most obvious. It has stood a while, so the battery is flat, tyres & seat cover are perished & tank is mucky inside. Sadly the ignition switch is broken, there is a broken fin on the r/h cylinder head & chain guard is dented.
Exhausts are original & solid. Seat base is in very good condition throughout. The engine is losing its painted finish & sadly, it is seized – it appears to be seized on the crank so will require serious surgery.
