This 2001 Ducati MS4 900 Monster has recently been imported from Japan where it has spent all its life.

This and the fact it's only showing 23251km (14600 miles) and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks.

We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike looks to be complete.

It has stood a while, so the battery is flat.

Sadly, the solo seat cover is split & the footrest hangers are losing the paint finish.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.

This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures.

The wheels look straight with good tyres, discs, calipers & working master cylinders.

Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome & clean alloy.

Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.

Instruments & switches look good.

Throttles are free sliding off the twist grip.

Paintwork is solid, fuel tank is squeaky-clean inside and has just minor marks & scratches in the original paint.

Exhausts are original & solid.

Seat is in good condition throughout.

Indicators are tidy.

The engine - when we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel, fires, starts, runs & revs.
