1980 Kawasaki KZ1000G Unregistered US Import Classic Running Restoration Project
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Mirrors, airbox assy & entire fuel injection system being the most obvious. It has stood a while, so the battery is nearly flat & the chrome on the engine casings is pitted.
The engine turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great BUT BEST OF ALL when we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel, gave it a few prods it fires, starts, runs & revs.
