1979 Kawasaki KE250B3 Unregistered US Import Classic Restoration Project
This well-respected, tax and MOT EXEMPT, 1979 Kawasaki KE250B3 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – RH mirror being the most obvious. There are a few marks in the paint, the key doesn't turn in the ignition barrel and the tank is rusty inside.
The wheels are straight with nice clean alloy and working brakes. The forks and yokes look straight with good chrome. The tail light assy is good as are the headlight and bowl. Instruments looks ok and switches move freely. The carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip. The seat base is in good condition throughout. The indicators are tidy. The chain guard is tidy. Both mud guards are straight and solid. The standard exhaust is solid.
The engine is cosmetically clean. We have had it firing/running & revving on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
