1977 Kawasaki KE175B Unregistered US Import Barn Find Classic Restoration Project
This well-respected, and very much sought-after Tax & MOT exempt 1977 Kawasaki KE175B Enduro has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 9554 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks.
As you can see this bike is nearly complete missing just the battery, r/h mirror & the ball-end off the clutch lever. It has stood a while, so the paintwork is faded, tyres & seat cover are perished.

The wheels look straight with clean chrome rims, good hubs & brake plates. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Mudguards are both solid. Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look ok. Carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip. Paintwork is slightly faded but solid, fuel tank is useably clean inside and has just minor dents/marks & scratches in the paint. Exhaust is original & solid. Seat base is in restorable condition. Indicators are tidy.
The engine is cosmetically clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression - We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carb will need attention......don't fret we didn't run it long.
