This well-respected, and very much sought-after Tax & MOT exempt 1^st edition 1972 Suzuki GT750J has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life.

This and the fact it's only showing 20765 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks.

While it looks entirely plausible, we have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – R/h mirror, indicators, grabrail, chain guard, battery, exhaust cones, r/h tank badge, sprocket cover, airbox, inner rear mudguard, water flap, & seat lock assy being the most obvious.

It has stood a while, so the paintwork is faded, tyres & seat cover are perished.  

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.

This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures.

The wheels look straight with clean chrome rims, good hubs & brake plates.

Forks & yokes look straight.

Mudguards are both solid.

Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.

Instruments & switches look good.

Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.

Paintwork is solid, fuel tank is useably clean inside.

Exhausts are original & appear to be solid.

Seat base is in very good condition throughout.

The engine is cosmetically clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression - We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention......don't fret we didn't run it long.

National deliveries start at £195 inc for a standard size motorcycle to most mainland destinations –

Larger bikes or destinations in Scotland, Cornwall or within the M25 area will cost more.
