This well-respected, Tax & MOT exempt 1980 Suzuki GSX750L factory custom has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life.

This and the fact it's only showing 7433 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks.

While it looks entirely plausible, we have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike is remarkably original and virtually complete missing just its mirrors.

It has stood a while, so the battery is flat & tyres feel hard.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.

This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures from 44 years ago & it is every bit as nice as it looks here.....A great find!.

The wheels are straight with nice clean alloy, good discs, calipers & working master cylinders.

Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome & clean alloy.

Mudguards are both solid & are very tidy.

Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.

Instruments & switches look good.

Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.

Paintwork is solid, fuel tank is squeaky-clean inside and has just minor marks & scratches in the original paint.

Exhausts are original, solid & very presentable.

Seat is in very good condition throughout.

Indicators are tidy.

Chain guard is tidy as is the grab rail.

Shock absorbers are damping fine.

The engine is cosmetically very clean BUT BEST OF ALL when we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel, gave it a few prods it fires, starts, runs & revs.
