1982 Honda GL500 Unregistered US Import Classic Running Restoration Project
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Front indicators & r/h reflector being the most obvious. It has stood a while, so the battery is flat. Sadly, the ignition key will not access the fuel tank.
Carburettors are only just free sliding off the twist grip. Paintwork is slightly faded but solid, fuel tank sounds clean inside when you tap it with a knuckle. Exhausts are original & solid. The engine when we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel, fires, starts, runs & revs but it is obvious the carbs need attention.
