2001 Honda FTR223 Unregistered JAP Import Barn Find Running Restoration Project

 

 As you can see this minimalist bike has been striped to its bare essentials!  

It hasn’t stood forever as there is life in the battery & fresh fuel in the tank.

The wheels look straight with working brakes. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Mudguard is solid. Instruments & switches look good. Carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip. Fuel tank is squeaky-clean inside. Shock absorber is damping fine. The engine is cosmetically clean BUT BEST OF ALL it fires, starts, runs & revs.
