This well-respected and much sought after 1978 Yamaha DT250E has recently been imported from North America where is spent all its life.
As you can see, the bike has a few bits missing, a few bits broken and a few bits non-standard but much of the bike is in good condition.
The wheels look straight with just a few marks to the alloy.
Forks look straight.
Headlight looks ok but rim as a scrape.
The tank looks clean inside and feels solid underneath.
Carb is free sliding.
The mudguards are straight and solid.
When we hooked it up to a booster battery we had it firing/starting on easy start spray but noticed that the spark was intermittent and will need attention.
We are selling this bike as a trade clearance project so make us an offer and get started!
