1973 Yamaha CT3 175 Unregistered US Import Barn Find Classic Restoration Project
This little tax and mot exempt 1973 Yamaha CT3 175 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing- LH side panel, generator cover, ignition key and ball end off the front brake lever being the most obvious. There are a few dents in the tank, the tailight lens is broken, the seat cover is torn and there appears to be a weld repair to the front alloy wheel.
The engine is cosmetically clean. We have had it firing/running & revving on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
