This well-respected and much sought after 1971 Yamaha CT1C 175 has recently been imported from North America where its spent all of its life.
As you can see, the engine number clearly is incorrect. It is missing the ball-end off the front brake lever and the indicator toggle switch, there is a dent in the LH side panel and the paintwork is faded.
The wheels look straight with bright chrome rims.
Forks look straight with good chrome.
Headlight and tailight look ok.
Instruments look good.
The carb is freesliding off the twist grip.
The seat is in good condition throughout.
Mudguards are straight and solid.
Exhaust looks ok and feels solid.
Tanks is clean inside.
The rear rack is tidy.
Best of all when we fed it some fresh fuel we had it firing, running and revving well.
We are applying for the age related UK registration which should be complete and confirmed with a V5 document by September 2024.
