1972 Honda CL175K6 Unregistered US Import Barn Find Classic Restoration Project
This well-respected, tax and MOT exempt, 1972 Honda CL175K6 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – seat lock being the most obvious. There are a few marks in the original paint which is otherwise quite bright. The glistening exhaust sadly has a hole on the underside behind the heat shield and the pinstripes are peeling.
The wheels are straight with nice clean chrome rims and working brakes. The forks and yokes look straight and gators are intact. The tail light assy is good as are the headlight and bowl. Instruments look ok and switches move freely. The fuel tank looks squeaky clean inside bar a few rust scabs. The seat base is isolid but has a few specs of surface rust. The indicators are tidy. The chain guard is tidy. Both mud guards are straight and bright.
The engine is cosmetically clean. We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
