1976 Honda CB750K6 Unregistered US Import Barn Find Classic Restoration Project
This well-respected and much sought after 1976 Honda CB750K6 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – LH mirror being the most obvious. We also noted that there are some marks in the paint, the pin stripes are peeling, the front mudguard has a dent, the chainguard is a bit rusty and the exhaust is sadly rotted through.
The wheels are straight but the chrome rims have some rust spots. The forks and yokes and gators are intact. The tail light assy is good as are the headlight and bowl but the rim has a scrape. Instruments and switches look ok. The fuel tank is quite clean inside. The seat base is in good condition throughout. The indicators are tidy. The chain guard is straight. Both mud guards are striaght and bright.
The engine is cosmetically clean. When we fed fresh fuel through the carb and hooked it up to a good battery we had it firing/running & revving but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
