This well-respected Tax & MOT exempt 1972 Honda CB350K4 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 10198 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks.
PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Ignition key, battery, tank lock & r/h side panel badge being the most obvious. Sadly the r/h fork has a few dents in the shrouds.
BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.........This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures from 50 years ago.
The wheels look straight with reasonably clean chrome alloy rims, good hubs & brake plates. Forks & yokes look straight. Mudguards are both solid, rear is tidy but front is lightly pitted. Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look ok. Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip. Paintwork is solid, fuel tank is useably clean inside and has just minor dents/marks & scratches in the original paint. Exhausts are non-original & solid. Seat is in very good condition throughout. Indicators are tidy. Chain guard is tidy.
The engine is cosmetically clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression BUT BEST OF ALL when we hooked it up to a good battery & supplied fresh fuel through the carbs it fires, starts, runs & revs.
