This very rare and much sought after 1968 Kawasaki A1 250SS Samurai has recently been imported from North America where it spent all of its life.
As you can see the bike has a few bits missing; battery, mirrors and chainguard being the most ovious. We also noted that; the front brake lever is broken, switches are seized, RH rank rubber is perished, seat cover is torn and much of the bright chrome is pitted and peeling.
The wheels look straight but the chrome rims are rusty.
Forks look straight but the gators are perished.
Headlight and tailight look ok.
Instruments look good.
The exhaust feels solid but the chrome is peeling.
Mudguards are straight and solid with bright chrome.
The tank is clean inside and feel solid underneath.
The paintwork is quite bright but there are some rust scabs throughout.
The seat base is in solid condition but we noted some surface rust.
When we hooked it up to a booster battery we had it firing on easy start spray but noted that it has an intermittent spark so the fuel system and points will require attention.
